An order confirmation will be sent to you by Canada Post. If you prefer, we can email your confirmation. Please note that a minimum 25% deposit is required to hold your order.

4) How do I know if what I want is available?
Some items will be marked as SOLD OUT on the website. It is generally recommended to phone our office to determine availability as inventory is constantly changing in our busy spring season. You can also fax (705-277-3861) a list to us to determine availability or email it. Please be sure to mark preferred size(s) and quantity of each - if you are flexible on sizing or species, please indicate that as well as we are sometimes sold out of a particular size, but another is available.
5) When can I expect my order?
We generally start shipping from approximately April 7 through to end of May (for bare-root). It is up to you to let us know when you are ready for the plant material as each customer has different needs, soil conditions and labour issues. You can let us know at the time you place the order, or call or email closer to the date (please use your order # and /or "billing name" as a reference if emailing). Note: Shipments are sent on Mon., Tues., and Wed. only to ensure you receive them before the weekend.
6) I prefer to pick up my order at the nursery – When can I get it?
We prefer that spring orders be picked up on Thur., Fri or Sat. between 8 and 4:30. (We are closed on Sundays). Please advise us that you are coming at least 3-4 days prior to pick up. (For fall pick-ups just let us know a few days ahead and you can pick up Mon. to Fri. and Saturday pickups can usually be coordinated for you.)
7) Can I order less than the minimum of 25 seedlings?
Yes, but a premium will be charged at $2.00 per seedling. For example, if you wanted 5 seedlings normally at $1.00 ea (based on the minimum of 25), the cost for less than 25 would be $3.00 ea., for a total of $15.00. As a money saving alternative, you may want to collectively order with friends or family members, to split the order at the minimum quantity.
8) Do I need to place an order ahead of time, or can I just come in?
As we have high volumes of orders to be shipped in our busy spring season, please be patient if visiting our farm on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, especially in April and early May. We are pleased to help you on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, anytime from 8-4:30 pm. As we often sell out of certain plant material and sizes, it is suggested that an order be placed in advance, particularly if you want specific plant sizes only, with no substitutions. If you are looking for large quantities, it is recommended to place an order in advance, to avoid disappointment and ensure that stock is allocated for you. Please note that a 25% deposit is required to hold this stock.
